Happy Things Happening {at BIS}!
It's been awhile since I've mentioned Blessed is She, so I think it's high time I update you on all the happy things going on!
As you may (or may not) know by now, Blessed is She is an incredible--and free!--women's devotional ministry, dedicated to sharing relevant devotions every single day based on daily scripture readings. I have the privilege of being a very small part the Blessed is She team, which is chock full of astonishingly beautiful and talented volunteer writers, artists, and theologians.
It's honestly amazing to see how this ministry has evolved exponentially over the past two years to meet the needs and desires brought to us by women of faith from all over the world. What was once a little Holy Spirit nudge in Jenna (our founder's) direction is now a community of faith-filled women who share in each other's lives, support each other online and in person, and grow together through scripture studies and workshops and even in Blessed is She local groups. It's pretty awesome.
There is always a demand for more, and BIS is always working to keep up with it - so here's the latest on two great new happenings!
All sorts of readers asked, so Blessed is She listened... and developed the most perfect Catholic planner packed with all of the most-requested items! It's now available for pre-order in the Blessed is She Shop for a 10% discount! This gorgeous planner was completely designed/sourced/made in the USA (which was very important to the BIS team, and cannot be said of most big-name comparable planners). The planner starts with September of 2016 and runs through September of 2017.
The BIS planner has:
… and of course feast days and holy days and more.
Again, you pre-order it now in the Blessed is She Shop for a 10% discount.**
**In the past, journals and similar BIS items have sold out very quickly (even with frantic re-stocking!), so do keep that in mind if you're interested in this incredible gem! Here's a peek:
The BIS team continues to pour ourselves heart and soul into providing free devotions to women around the world while responding to reader requests for additional opportunities for depth and connection and conversation. Jenna listened to this plea for materials and idea sharing to help women grow even deeper in their faith, and worked hard to create the BIS Membership.
With the membership, you get an all-access pass to monthly (sometimes twice a month!) digital workshops on great topics given by renowned Catholic writers and speakers. Also included - the Advent and Lent journals will be shipped to your door for free! The monthly membership is only $10 a month (okay, $9.99 if you're counting that penny saved) or $99 a year, and like the planner, it's available now in the Blessed is She Shop.
The tl:dr version of that: if you're a member, you can save at the very least $120 over the course of the year for the monthly membership, or $140 with the yearly membership. And, of course, you'll be supporting a great ministry while you're at it, so we can always keep your daily devotions free and work to make all of your other wonderful ideas a reality!
Weigh In:
If you read Blessed is She or you're already a member, what do you get most out of the ministry? What would you like to see in the future?
