A Little Fall Reprieve {+ BIS Advent Goodies!}

It's falllllllll, friends! Have you been reveling in all the Halloween decorations crowding the aisles?

I'm really not a big Halloween person, save for Winston, our friendly ghost, and Webster, our very-not-scary fuzzy spider, because scary and I don't get along.

Winston doesn't do scary either.

But it's finally starting to look and feel like fall here, and I do lurrrve fall. So yesterday I accepted that summer is over and finally dug out my autumnal spirit, decorations and all.

And.
As I spruced up my home and updated my planner, I realized that hot on the heels of Halloween...

...will be Advent!

And with it? BIS goodies!

Yes, Advent is already next month and I'm already craving a quiet and reflective Advent season this year (as I do every Advent and Lent...except life, yo).

Even with life's craziness, though, and really because of it, I love what a pivotal role each unique Blessed is She Advent (and Lent!) journal has played in the journey of my soul the past few years. They've helped give me precious moments of peace, especially during the insanity of the commercial Christmas season; a reason to pause during my crazy day--even just five minutes--and have a chance to breathe spiritually, to fight the tide of all the other not-really-so-important "shoulds" of the season trying to press in and take some critical time for myself.

When it comes to the interior life, I've come quite a ways in the past year alone, and I know how much depth of this growth is owed to these beautiful liturgical season journals, which the Blessed is She team works round the clock to make available for us.

This year, I think they've absolutely outdone themselves. I am more excited than ever, except excited doesn't even capture the essence, the feeling of a longing being answered, when I look at this year's advent package. (Before this drifts into too much of a commercial, which I hate as much as the next person, I want to say that these sentiments are flowing freely from the deepest place of my heart).

The journal is a heart-liftingly honest and breathtakingly beautiful prayer journal written by the one and only Elizabeth Foss, with hand-lettering and watercolor by the incredible Erica Tighe, whose artistry is pure gift.

There's also a gorgeous Advent print crafted by Erica, and the hand-lettered Jesse Tree that were such a hit last year are available again because there's still a big demand!

Okay, now for the actual commercial part: Each of these Advent goodies are officially available for pre-order today!! There's also available as a bundle option called the Advent Pack if you want to get all three and save a little. If you want to order through my affiliate link, just click here:

You'll find this screen in the shop with all the beautiful options.

From left to right: Advent Pack,  Advent Journal, Advent Print, Jesse Tree Cards.
When you get to the shop just click on the one you want!

I'll add the usual heads up that the journals have sold out every year - we are trying to make sure there are enough this year, but the demand seems to keep growing more quickly than production team's estimation of it. So if you trust that these goodies will foster your spiritual growth as much as they have mine, pre-ordering can give you that peace of mind that yours is on the way.

And it will also give something pleasant to look forward to the next time you back into way-too-realistic rattling skeleton in the crowded grocery store aisle (not that I would know).

Happy Fall (and all Hallow's Eve), y'all.
Advent is coming!
